Masked robber threatened staff – took cash

A petrol station was robbed on Sunday night. The staff were threatened with a gun-like object.

The police received an alarm from Preem on Kung Knuts väg in Vä at 17.59. The store is open until 6 pm on Sundays.

–The perpetrator threatened staff with a gun-like object and took cash from the register. He then left the place on foot, says Jimmy Modin, Press Spokesman for the police.

Several police patrols were sent out. Staff and any witnesses were interviewed and the area was searched. No suspect had been arrested by 9 pm.

– The patrols are finished at the scene and are debriefing, says Jimmy Modin.

No one was physically injured during the robbery.
