Man injured in shooting in Gamlegården

StraAccording to reports, a man received minor injuries. The man, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

– He had superficial injuries, says the police’s spokesperson Evelina Olsson.

She says that people in the area had called the police to alert them.

According to KB/NSk’s source, a person living next to the crime scene heard four to five shots being fired.

– Right now we’re at the scene, working from both the ground and the air. The location in question, a larger area around Göingegatan, has been cordoned off and we are looking for both witnesses and suspects, Evelina Olsson said at around 8.30 pm.

According to information, there were many people at the scene after the crime.

Forensic technicians were also present to investigate the crime scene.

Evelina Olsson does not want to state whether witnesses have provided information regarding the perpetrator or whether the police have any traces. She also did not want to disclose any information regarding the victim’s identity.

– Such information will be given at a later stage, she says.

The case is currently classified as attempted murder. No suspects had been arrested in connection with the case on Sunday at 1 pm.

The police’s technicians have finished investigating the crime scene. It is unclear whether the police have made any discoveries. There is also no information on whether plaintiff was allowed to leave the hospital.
