Major police operation overnight - three people taken to hospital

A few minutes past midnight, the police received an alarm about an injured person at a property. What happened at the scene is still unknown. The police have stated that three people have been injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.

- It's a serious crime. We’re at the scene and have cordoned off a property pending a forensic investigation, says Ulrika Olsson, Duty Officer with the police in Region Syd to BLT / Sydöstran. She continues:

- We will also knock on doors in the area and interview witnesses.

At 3 am on Tuesday, no suspect had been arrested in connection with the case. The police will not disclose any further information at this time with reference to the confidentiality of preliminary investigations.

According to Aftonbladet and Kvällsposten, three men, all over the age of 18, were taken to hospital. It is unknown what the injuries are.

The police have carried out a number of investigative measures at the scene during the night. A forensic investigation has been carried out and doors have been knocked on in the area. The police are also asking residents in the area who have not spoken to the police yet to call them via 11414.
