KDFF impressed against Rosengård: ”We didn't show them any respect”

KDFFcaused a sensation and took a point against FC Rosengård (1-1 ). It was the team's fourth game against the champions – without losing.
– It felt as if we were a bit disrespectful today. I think that was very important, says Mia Carlsson,who scored KDFF's goal.

The encounter between Kristianstad DFF and FC Rosengård in June ended 0-0. In this weekend's match the goals came in the second half.

”It always feels good to score a goal”

Just minutes after half-time Rosengård's Sanne Troelsgaard rolled the ball into an open goal to make the score 1-0. But then the team's star player, midfielder Jelena Cankovic, injured her foot and had to be carried off the pitch on a stretcher.

Then KDFF came to life, Mia Carlsson scored to make it 1-1.

– It always feels good to score a goal. Last time was at home against Bordeaux, so this was almost as good, the left back says.

– It felt as if we didn't show them much respect today.I think that's very important if we are to come here and take points, she says.

Rosengård tops the series, with KDFF in fourth place.
