Investigation into SD leader’s remuneration to be launched immediately

– The assignment was given in consultation with Pierre Månsson (L) and Anders Tell (S) in the Municipal Board's presidium, says Camilla Palm (M), the new Chair of the Municipal Board.

The decision comes following Kb/NSk's articles about the Swedish Democrat’s leader, Carl Henrik Nilsson, who has requested compensation for loss of earnings and double meetings. In addition, his company has wrongly received 80,000 crowns in short-term aid from the state.

The Municipal Director’s assignment is to "determine whether there are any irregularities or not".

– The assignment also includes coordinating the review with Region Skåne and the Administrative Court, says Camilla Palm, who also states that the investigation will be launched immediately.

The investigation will be for years 2020, 2021 and 2022.

It is clear that for some time, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, Region Skåne and the Administrative Court in Malmö have also been looking into the payments that have been made to Carl Henrik Nilsson.

At the same time, Carl Henrik Nilsson is being praised by his party comrades. A while ago, Carl Henrik Nilsson was awarded “Gangster of the mandate period" at a party political event with reference to the "media’s witch hunt".

Nilsson posted the explanatory statement on Facebook. It read:
