Green light for spectators in the stands again

Restaurant owners are raising a glass,clubs are jubilant. Nightclubs can open for dancing and arrangers of concerts are not required to make everyone be seated. ”I don't usually feel like this”, says Henrik Fröberg from the Arenabolaget, almost moved to tears. ”Now at long last it's full steam ahead!”

For a year and a half the corona epidemic has limited the maximum number of people allowed to take part in an indoor event in Sweden. The government has ruled that as from 29th September restrictions will be lifted for public events.

– I'm glad, relieved, moved. I don't usually feel like this. Now at long last we can go full steam ahead!' He is positive to the idea of introducing vaccination passports if necessary:

– Absolutely, what is most important is that there are no restrictions for gatherings.
