Flying Christmas tree will thunder in over north-east Skåne

Now it has been confirmed that the ”flying Christmas tree ” of JAS planes will thunder in in the sky over Kristianstad and Hässleholm. This will take place on Tuesday forenoon, 14th December. Weather permitting, of course.

F17, Blekinge air-force base, usually practises formation flying every year in the shape of a Christmas tree. It is a good way of letting the fighter pilots practise flying in a big formation. At the same time the air-force shows its presence for everyone living in the south of Sweden, say the armed forces.

First the planes will fly over Ystad , then on to Halland and Göteborg before flying south again.

But it all depends on the weather, if the planes can take off and if they can be seen from the ground.

The armed forces and F17 write that both the times and places where the planes can be seen may be changed.

Last year there was no flying JAS Christmas tree over Kristianstad.
