Excursion: Safari on Helge å
What: The big safari boat. A two-hour trip on Helge å

Fun: Summer camp
What: KDFF Summer Camp, daytime camp for youngsters from 6 - 12, with games, making things, baking, obstacle courses and excursions.
Where: Vilan playing field.
When: Week 30 or 31. Free. Put your name down at kdff.nu
Excursion: See storks
What: Storkcenter at Viby raises storks. Now some breed at different places at the centre.
Where: Viby farm shop. Town bus route 1 has a stop at Viby church, from where it is a 200-metre walk nothwards to the shop.
When: Whenever you like. Free.
Summer holidays: 191 things to do
What: Summer holidays = sports, culture, nature, excursions, being with friends.Loads of free activities for everyone between 6 and 18.
Where: At various places in Kristianstad municipality.

See and listen: Weaving
What: Interesting exhibitions and lectures. Per Gustavsson spins and talks about traditions and enigmas to do with linen and demonstrates implements for treating flax. He has collected stories in a book called 'Skånesägner' (Legends from Skåne). Read more at vavmuseum.se
Where: Vävstolsmuseet in Glimåkra.
When: Sunday 11th July at 2:30 pm. The museum is open Wednesdays and Sundays between 2 and 4 pm.
