Five things to do in Feruary

February is usually icy and cold, but that needn't hinder you from going out and discovering things in Vattenriket, for example, or tagging along on an exciting trip to India.

Take the chance to grill something tasty at Naturum and while you're there solve some puzzles or simply go on a walk and observe Vattenriket's wild life.

You can also go to the rural museum in Boalt and see animals from India.

For the first time there will be an exhibition of a private art collection – this can also be worth a visit.

Find out: Vattenriket in winter

What: Families with children can solve tricky problems and learn to recognise different animal tracks in nature. Bring along something to grill if you wish.

Where: At Naturum's outdoor grill, it's ready and waiting.

When: Every Saturday in February between 12 and 2 pm. Free of charge.

Fun out of doors: Winter life in Vattenriket

What: Everyone is welcome to go out with a nature guide in the area around Naturum in winter. You may spot a kingfisher, find tracks made by an otter or learn to recognise birds at the bird-table.

Where: Naturum.

When: Every Sunday until 27th February at 2 pm. Free of charge.

What: Free exhibition with works by Åsa Antalffy Eriksson, Claus Becker and Tommy B.Nilsson.

Where: Exhibition hall in Hässleholm Kulturhus.

When: From Saturday 19th February till 19th March, 10 am till 1 pm.

Art: Exhibition of private collection

What: For the first time Marika and C-G Wachtmeister's private collection from their home and daily life at Wanås Manor will be on show to the public.

Where: Kristianstad Konsthall (Regionmuseum).
