In recent weeks, several restaurants in Kristianstad and the surrounding area have been put up for sale.
There are advertisements on Blocket for five restaurants in the centre alone.

– It is not so easy to sell in these times, says Mario Hicheri, owner of Coffeehouse & PS!.

On January 21, La Marina Restaurant in Åhus was put up for sale on Blocket.

Just over two weeks later, four restaurants in central Kristianstad were also put up for sale on the online marketplace.

The Italian restaurant La Marina Restaurant, located next to the roundabout in Åhus, changed ownership a year ago, but is now up for sale again.

Two restaurants in Kristianstad that risk being short-lived are Shalimar and Ebisu Bubble Tea.

The former opened on January 1, 2022 on Södertorg. They have focused on curry and tandoori, just like the chain's two restaurants in Iceland and Great Britain.

Ebisu Bubble Tea opened as late as June 7, 2022 and is a cafe specialising in bubble tea, but sells Vietnamese food too.

In the advertisement, the owners write that the inventory is included with a purchase and welcome discussions about ideas and thoughts other than the current focus.

Lilla Nam Viet Restaurang on Västra Storgatan is another Vietnamese restaurant that has recently been put up for sale. It is not the first time it has been put up for sale.

An even more secretive sale is the one on Blocket that is marketed as a "popular established restaurant in Kristianstad", but where no other information has been disclosed regarding what kind of restaurant it is.

The advertisement that was clearly out the longest on Blocket is Coffeehouse & PS!. In the advertisement, the owner Mario Hicheri, describes that plans to sell existed long before the corona pandemic broke out. The reason for the sale is private matters.
