Fire in flat
On Monday afternoon fire broke out in a block of flats in Kristianstad.

At about 4 pm the alarm was raised about a fire in a building at Gamlegården.
The fire was reported to have started in a sofa in one of the flats. One of the people living in the flat managed to get out and call the emergency services.
No-one is reported to have been injured .

When the emergency services reached the scene, the fire was intense. The focus was on clearing away all the smoke that had spread on the stairs and into other flats.
The police interviewed residents, and at about 6:30 pm they were able to report that there was no suspicion of crime.
