Fire in apartment for seniors – two taken to hospital
At 4 pm on Wednesday, the emergency services were alerted to a fire in an apartment at a senior housing complex in Glimåkra. Firefighting units from Sibbhult, Broby, Osby and Kristianstad responded. Two people were taken to hospital.

The fire was in a senior housing complex with several apartments.
– There are 22 apartments on two floors. It was quite a huge fire in an apartment on the first floor when the first unit arrived. It was a developed fire, says Rescue Supervisor Mikael Svensson.
The police and several ambulances were also dispatched.
