Customer service centre to close
In August, 80 per cent of customers bought a ticket via the app. This is why Skånetrafiken's customer service centre has fewer customers. In Kristianstad, visits have fallen from 138,155 during the first eight months of 2017, to 31,531 in 2020.
Now Skånetrafiken wants to close its customer service centres in Lund and Kristianstad in spring 2021. This way, Skånetrafiken will save 12 million crowns a year.
– This is extremely sad for the excellent colleagues who will be affected, says Susanne Jönsson, Area Manager for customer service at Skånetrafiken.
Six employees may possibly get other jobs within Skånetrafiken.
Where should customers turn to?
– There are a lot of alternatives, such as our representatives. In Kristianstad, it’s Pressbyrån which is next door, there you can buy tickets and get answers to simple questions. Then we still have our customer service that you can call, or chat with via social media.
