Control of motor-cyclist led to find of weapons and drugs
The police checked up on a motor-cyclist who was endangering other traffic. He tried to run off. Now he is suspected of weapons offences and narcotics offences.

It was about 11 am on Tuesday when a police patrol caught sight of a motor-cyclist who was endangering other traffic. This was on Riksväg 21, near Vinslöv.

The police followed him and managed to stop him, but he tried to run away.
The driver, a man in his 50’s, appeared to be under the influence of drugs, so the police decided to search his house.
– We found two firearms we think should be licensed. We found narcotics and doping substances as well, says Christine Björklund, press spokesman for the police.
The police have now started a preliminary investigation into a serious case of unlawful driving, infringement of narcotics regulations, drunken driving and weapons offences.
