Clear for national university aptitude test – could be in Kristianstad arena
There has been a great deal of debate about whether Högskoleprovet can or should take place in autumn or not due to the risk of spreading corona.
”We will manage and carry out the test”Håkan Pihl, Vice-Chancellor of the University
Government Coordinator Peter Honeth proposes that places be limited to a certain number. According to the proposal, Kristianstad University will have 515 places, compared to about 850 previously.
– Everyone who wants to sit the test will not have the opportunity to, says Håkan Pihl, Vice-Chancellor of the university.
– We will manage and carry out the test.
The university will, among other things, rent Kristianstad Arena, with plenty of space for the participants to spread out.
The proposal is that those who register first will get a place. The Swedish National Union of Students (SFS) thinks it’s unfair.
– It will be arbitrary who gets an extra chance, says Simon Edström, SFS's Chairman, to TT.
Högskoleprovet will be sat on October 25th. The last day to apply is 1st October.
