Christmas musik follows walking across the street
The starting shot for Christmas has passed. Pedestrians can listen to Christmas music at three crossings between Västra Boulevarden and Nya Boulevarden.

– They are the only crossings in south of Sweden that has music, but there are other places further north, says Jonas Schrevelius, unit manager for operation and maintenance at the technical administration.
Kristianstad’s municipal makes the Christmas investment in cooperation with Kristianstad City. At red-light ”Hej tomtegubbar” plays and at green light ”Bjällerklang”.
– Many have become very happy. It becomes a new feature that one hasn’t seen before. There have been many smiles round the crossings.
More Christmas news is on its way. Soon a new Christmas lighting is calculated to arrive on the streets of Västra and Östra Storgatan, if deliveries work during the pandemic.
