Chilly but enjoyable start for open-air day
The cold nipped their cheeks, but the Sfi- students were in good spirits. Marzena Gumowska-Bielinska had brought along her son Dawid, aged six.
”In Poland you're only allowed to camp at camping sites”Marzena Gumowska-Bielinska, Sfi-student
Marzena comes from Poland, has lived in Sweden for six months and studied Sfi for half of that time.
– We've looked at different things in the woods and made a fire. We've talked about how you can make food out of doors. Great fun, she says.
– Thanks to the law on the right of access everyone can spend their leisure time out of doors in nature in Sweden. You can pitch your tent for a day anywhere in the woods. In Poland you're only allowed to camp at camping sites.
Outdoor life 2021
The project ”Aktivera mera - Friluftsliv” in Kristianstad municipality has activities to interest people who are not used to spending time out of doors in nature. The kick-off for the first activities was for the municipality's Sfi-students at Åsumfältet. In the summer one of the activities will be a walking tour along Skåneleden.
It is a co-operative project between the municipality's culture and leisure department and Biosfärenheten/naturum.
