Charlottesborg may get more housing
It’s possible to build more in Charlottesborg. And the municipality wants to develop the area. But a new zoning plan is required. The Planning Commission has now been asked to draw one up.

HSB Skåne is positive about the plans. HSB Skåne wants to tear down its care centres in Charlottesborgshemmet. They want to build an apartment building with apartments for rent instead.
The idea is also, that HSB's office which is currently located on Cardellsgatan, will move into the new apartment building, says Ann Irebo, CEO of HSB Skåne.

The Charlottesborg housing association also wants to see an investment. But the association does not want to build anything new, says Chairman Anders Zackrés.

Municipal Councillor Pierre Månsson (L) explains that it involves cooperating with HSB Skåne for the whole area.
– And also about densifying Charlottesborg. HSB Skåne wants to give the area a lift. It’s good that something is happening here and that we’re doing it together, says Månsson.
