Broby Hospital’s permit does not apply to permanent residence

New judgment and decision states that Broby hospital is a temporary accommodation that is not supposed to be rented out as a permanent living arrangement. This means that a fine of 250 000 kronor per month from the month of May will be required from the property owner, if the property owner does not take action and appropriate measures.

The Broby Hospital’s building permit for temporary living does not apply to the activity and operation that takes place at the Broby Hospital today, that is renting out housing.

At the Broby Hospital there are about 200 registered tenants.

The property owner of Broby Hospital now has five months to supervise and see to it that the activity conducted in the building complies with the building permit, which applies to temporary residence only.

If the judgment and decision isn’t complied with, the property owner will have to pay a fine of 250 000 kronor per each following month with start from the 5th of May 2022.
