Boy dead following crash – two being treated for life-threatening injuries
The police have announced that a 17-year-old boy died when a car crashed into a tree on Sunday afternoon. Relatives have been notified.
On Monday morning, Aftonbladet stated that two people were being treated for life-threatening injuries, while several others have received minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear and an investigation will take place to see if there was any foul play.
On Monday, the police announced that there are several criminal offences surrounding the accident – dangerous driving, gross negligence causing manslaughter, ss negligence causing bodily harm and drunken driving.
– A total of seven people were travelling in the car, as I understand it, they are younger persons. It is a serious accident, said Evelina Olsson, Spokesperson for the police.
The emergency services cut the roof off the car.
On Sunday, Region Skåne stated that one girl has life-threatening injuries, while one girl and three boys have received minor injuries. All five are between the ages of 15 to 19.
There is no information regarding the condition of the sixth person.
