Baklava and Arabic ice-cream in new café
The counter is full of different kinds of baklava in long rows. There are also cakes made from recipes from the Middle East. In the freezer there are both Italian gelato and Arabic ice-cream with pistachio nuts.

He came from Syria in 2014, lived in Bromölla for five years then moved to Tomelilla. He started studying to be a preschool teacher at Malmö university, but then decided to start the ice-cream factory.
Now he is back in northeast Skåne again. On 21st December he opened Sweety Café in Galleria Boulevard.
– I think people need a place in Kristianstad where they can take the whole family. I've chosen the sofas and the other fittings so that you feel at home. I've used a lot of wood, something people from both Sweden and the Middle East like, he says.
