– I know that today's message will come as a great relief to many employers, not least in the restaurant and hotel branch, as well as in entertainment and culture, says Magdalena Andersson.
– The support the government has promised will not be affected.
The information came at a press conference with Lena Hallengren, minister of social affairs, and director-general of the Public Health Agency Karin Tegmark Wisell.
That the restrictions have been lifted means that the limit on how many people may meet in one place has been removed, that restaurants and cafés no longer have to follow rules as to how close together guests may sit and how many people may sit together, and also that special rules for competitions and private parties no longer apply.
