3,000 crowns bonus for employees in healthcare
Everyone who works full-time for Region Skåne will get a 3,000 crowns bonus. It’s a thank you for working a lot of overtime and for working very hard to provide the best possible care.

– Region Skåne's staff have made a tremendous effort during the pandemic. Through a bonus, we want to thank everyone who has worked hard, often with long-shifts and while wearing layers of protective equipment, says Carl Johan Sonesson (M), Chairman of the regional board in Skåne.

– The pandemic is far from over, but we want to show our great appreciation to the employees and therefore give a bonus, says Gilbert Tribo (L), Chairman of the Health Care Committee in Skåne.

Those who don’t work full time will also get a bonus, but of a smaller amount.
Within the Alliance, they were in agreement on the decision. The total cost for Region Skåne will be approximately 170 million.
The bonus will be paid out with the salary at the end of January.
