The 23-year-old man is registered in a town in central Sweden. He is well known to the courts and last winter, just six months before he was arrested in Karlskrona, he was caught with almost one thousand tramadol tablets.

Last winter, he had just served a prison sentence and had a debt that he was forced to repay. He was tasked with transporting a package of drugs to Hässleholm to repay the debt. However, the man has chosen not to disclose who the assignment came from.

According to the man, he found out that the backpack with the package would contain cannabis and tablets. However, it contained a lot more than that.

A plainclothes policeman jumped on the train in Bergåsa and thought that the man seemed nervous and that his eyes were glazed. The policeman alerted his colleagues who arrested the man at the train station in Karlskrona.

Almost a kilo of amphetamine was then also found in the backpack. As a result of the amphetamine seizure, the man has been given a relatively heavy sentence – four years imprisonment.
