Young man found shot in Kristianstad
A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg at around 3.30 am during the early hours of Monday morning. He was taken to hospital. The police have cordoned off several residential buildings and knocked on doors. The police are looking for witnesses.

Several people called the police at 3.30 am. They had heard loud bangs on Skogsvägen in Kristianstad. When police arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds.
– A man was shot in the leg. This has taken place in a residential area, says Mikael Lindh, duty officer with the police in Region Syd.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. According to Region Skåne, the man's injuries are minor.
A forensic investigation is ongoing. The police searched the area with several dog patrols. The police have received some information from witnesses.
The police have spoken to the victim. Nobody has been arrested in connection with the case.
On Monday, the police’s mobile police van will be in Kristianstad to provide security.
