Yes to begin construction work for the new bathhouse
Now it's all set. On Tuesday, the Municipal Council said yes to begin construction work for a new bathhouse in Näsby, for a maximum of 510 million crowns. But the politicians were quite tired of debating the issue.

The road to a new bathhouse has been paved with many and tough discussions. When it was time to make a decision on when it would start, the debate lasted an hour. The decision was as expected. That is, L and C received support from S, SD and V to get the proposal through for a bathhouse for 510 million crowns with a training pool with ten swimming lanes.
M and KD have been pushing for a smaller bathhouse in the centre. The two parties voted against the proposal. They also wanted the 2015 decision on the location in Näsby to be overturned. Ulf Persson from the Centre Party chose to go against his party. He also voted to against the proposal.
The bathhouse should be ready by 2022.
