Wall with winter coats for those who are freezing
Last year, the Wall of Kindness was greatly appreciated. This year, the wall is back, around the clock until Sunday 17th February.
- Last year, a huge number of coats were donated, and some other stuff too, says Sara Larsson, Head of Unit at Skåne Stadsmission (City Mission) in Kristianstad.
The idea is to create a circulation of clothes and kindness where you can donate a coat to those in desperate need in the winter cold.
- I have received a lot of feedback and questions about it. People are very committed, says Sara Larsson.
- We want the Wall of Kindness in the winter when it is cold outside, at the same time every year. So people know when it's time.
It is Café David who is arranging the event, in collaboration with Kristianstad Municipality. Café David is part of the Skåne Stadsmission.
