Two suspected of being involved in murder released
On Tuesday two men were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the fatal shooting at Långebro. It emerged that there are two plaintiffs in the case, the deceased 24-year-old and another person, who were both in the car that was shot at.
The men, who are young adults, are described in a police statement to the press as being suspected of murder and attempted murder.

Now prosecutor Pernilla Tallinger says that the suspicions concerned complicity in murder and attempted murder.
On Thursday she decided to release them.
– We’ve come as far as we can in investigations concerning these two men , she says.
Are they still suspects?
– With the material that we have at the moment it’s impossible to prove that they are guilty of any crime. We’ve chosen to drop the preliminary investigation against these two men.
The investigations concerning murder and attempted murder are continuing.
It was at about 10:30 on the evening of 27th January that a 24-year-old man from Kristianstad received life-threatening injuries in a shooting incident at Gamla Långebrogatan.
He was taken in a private car to the hospital, where he later died.
Another man who was sitting beside the 24-year-old in the car, was also shot, but his injuries were not serious.
