Trial: Two men charged with attempted murder
The suspects, aged 23 and 24, live in Kristianstad. They have been in held in custody for seven months.
Both are charged with attempted murder, and the 24-year-old has also been charged with aggravated weapons offences. Together, on Sunday the 9th of September 2018, the men fired multiple shots with a gun at two men on Vemmenhögsgatan.
The shots were fired with the intention to kill them. The two men were sitting in a car. None of them were injured.
A witness saw some of what happened. Police found the car with bullet holes nearby. Bullet shells were also found there.
The 23-year-old's DNA was found on three of the shells. According to the indictment, he is charged for having had the gun before, that is, the same gun used in the shooting on Vemmenhögsgatan.
