The large fire in an empty building caused major damage to contact lines, signal systems and the railway tracks.
– We’re working in three shifts to get everything in place as quickly as possible. There are nearly 30 people working each shift. It’s a huge operation, says Sara Lindström, Press Communications Officer at Trafikverket.
Everyone who is travelling should leave plenty of time and be prepared for longer travel times.
SJ also warns of long travel times.
