Think twice before you celebrate New Year with fireworks

Fireworks are fun, but they can also be a danger to people, animals and property. And if you aren’t sober, the risk of accidents increases greatly. You must be 18 years old to buy rockets and set them off, or even to have them in your possession.

And remember, in Kristianstad municipality you are only allowed to set off fireworks in public places between 6 pm on New Year’s Eve and 2 am on New Year’s Day. At other times you must have permission from the police.
