The trend has turned - more students qualify for high school

The trend has turned. More and more pupils at Göingeskolan and Snapphaneskolan have qualified for high school. This is shown in the autumn term grades for the ninth grade.

At least 80 per cent of the pupils qualify for high school. In addition, the grades have increased on average and are now almost 200 points.

Many newly arrived pupils have in the space of a few years managed their studies better. Now it’s shown in their grades. As a result there will be more pupils qualified to apply for high school.

Over the last couple of years, both the qualifications and the grades for high school have fallen in the commune.

The political goal has not yet been reached. The goal is that 90 per cent of the students should qualify for high school and they should have 220 points on average.
