Ten things to do in Kristianstad

Make the most of the last days of summer and enjoy everything that is going on. Walk the Linnérundan with bird expert Evert Valfridsson on 18th September. And before that, Sanna Nielsen will be in town. Don’t miss her show on 14th September.

Or why not take the whole family to listen to ”The story of the little apple tree” at Naturum Vattenriket on 21st September? Anders Jansson gives us humour and laughter in a show on 3rd October. And don’t forget to relax – immerse yourself in nature at Forsakar on 29th September.

Excursion: Literary walking tour

What: Gustaf Hellström society takes us on a literary walking tour in the author’s footsteps.

Where: Town Library.

Music: Show

What: Sanna Nielsen, from Bromölla, has led the popular STV show ”Allsång från Skansen” this summer. Last winter she had at long last the chance to present the first show of her own – ”Mitt Sanna Jag” (The True Sanna). In the autumn she will be on tour.

Where: Kristianstad Arena.

When: Saturday 14th September at 7 pm.

Music: Concert

What: Music for the climate. Sarah Brogaard, researcher in sustainability, Claus Sörensen, composer, and XL Big Band give a musical interpretation of climate research.

Excursion: Walk the Linnérundan

What: Bird expert Evert Valfridsson takes us on the Linnérundan, a walk of about six kilometres. Don’t forget your binoculars and a little picnic. Information: Evert Valfridsson 070-602 30 45 or evert.valfridsson@naturskyddsforeningen.se

Excursion: Inauguration of jetty for fishing

What: Try your luck at fishing from the new jetty at Kanalhuset. Fishing rods etcetera can be borrowed there. Free for children up to 16. After the opening ceremony there will be coffee and buns.

Where: Kanalhuset.

When: Friday 20th September, 10-11 am.

What: The rushing water in Vramsån is teeming with life.Take your net and find out what there is below the surface. Suitable for all ages.

Music: Words and music that move you

What: Daniel Boyacioglu& Landaeus Trio The Trio creates a work where poetry meets jazz, where rap is the way words reach out to you and move you.

Excursion: Immerse yourself in the woods

What: Discover the feeling of calm in the woods. We walk in silence, do exercises for all of our senses and discuss why being close to nature is good for us. In Japan this is called ”shinrin-yoku”, which means ”immersion in the woods”.

Where: Meeting-point Forsakar in Degeberga, at the car-park.

When: Sunday 29th September , 11–13:30.

Humour: Show

What: The humour show ”Radical optimist” with Anders Jansson rattles along at a good pace with anecdotes from his life, including his passion for tablets.

When: Thursday 3rd October at 8 pm.
