Ideal Homes exhibition
What: More than 100 exhibitors with everything for the home, both outdoors and Indoors. Mia Dahlbom inspires on stage. Inka gives you good ideas for the garden. On Saturday there is a special guest, John Taylor, the gardening expert from Trädgårdstider on STV, and on Sunday Matte and Willy, well-known from Bygglov on TV4, will be there.

Excursion: Linnérundan
What: Spring Time for a walk round the Linnérundan, about 7 kilometres long. Kerstin Andersson - telephone 070-832 47 50 – will lead the walk. Bring along your own picnic. Arrangers: Friluftsfrämjandet.
Where: Meeting-place at the car-park at Naturum.

Reading: Children’s books
What: A book circle with children’s books. For parents whose native language is not Swedish. We read Swedish children’s books together and discuss them. Enrol at the reception desk at the town library.
Where: The town library, Kristianstad.
When: Monday 8th April at 10:30 am. Free.
Paint nature
What: For the family. Discover nature with the help of brush, paper and paints. Eveything from marshy swamps to mighty oak-trees. All the material you need is on the spot, so come along and paint with us.
Where: Ekenabben.
When: Sunday 14th April at 11 o’clock.
Music and dancing
What: In the performance ”I mellan” the group Unruly Gang share their love, attitude and energy. Everyone is invited to be proud of who we are.
Where: Kristianstad Theatre.
When: Tuesday 16th April at 7 pm.
Dance band: Lasse Stefanz
What: ”Lasse Stefanz – De första ljuva åren” (The first delightful years). The dance band celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. Last autumn their show was sold out. Now the band is back again for a new concert-hall tour – including a visit to their home town Kristianstad. The band, with singer Olle Jönsson, offers the audience a nostalgia trip with all their favourites from days gone by. Thomas Deutgen is compere.

Arabic for children
What: Would you like to read a book or listen to a story in Arabic? For children aged 7-9.
Where: The Aladdin corner (Aladdinhörnan) at Österäng library.
When: Monday 29th April at 3 pm.
Excursion: Out into the wilds
What: Have a go at paddling a canoe or a kayak, with the help of Friluftsfrämjandet. Try out the natural obstacle track. Make toys out of natural materials. Answer questions as you take a walk round a prepared course. Get to know some alpacas. Skogsmulle (who symbolises the open-air life) pays a visit.
