Ten confirmed cases of covid-19 in Östra Göinge
Now there are ten confirmed cases of covid-19 in Östra Göinge. This is shown in Tuesday's figures from Region Skåne. Earlier there were 0-9 confirmed cases. But none of the cases is in the home-help service, LSS or geriatric homes – according to the head of the municipality.

Östra Göinge has approximately 15,000 inhabitants. Ten confirmed cases is lower than the average for Skåne.

Hässleholm, with 52,000 inhabitansts, has 98 confirmed casces. Kristianstad, with 86,000 inhabitants, has 72 cases.

– Now testing has also increased in Östra Göinge and the rest of Skåne. But we have no infection in geriatric care or among other vulnerable groups in our municipality. That is the most important thing, says Jonas Rydberg, head of the municipality.
– If the picture had been different, I would have heard about it.
