Skånetrafiken after criticism: ”It makes travelling easier for most people”
– More agents can sell tickets (at least one in every town) and 100 new ticket machines. That is how Skånetrafiken counters the criticism.
– The first two weeks this year we have sold more journeys than the corresponding period last year. 77 per cent of all tickets are bought from an app, as against 44 per cent a year ago, says Linus Eriksson, traffic director at Skånetrafiken.
About ten per cent think that travelling has become more complicated.
– There are various reasons.Partly it's a change, and we know that it can be hard to adapt to changes. And then there's the prices. People who have got a lower price don't phone in to complain. But we're not ready with everything yet, as agents, he says.
Most criticised are the zones and the prices. Are you considering changing them?
– No. For most people it's easier to travel with the new system. We had Jojo for ten years and people complained all the time.
