Many who live in Kristianstad have also been critical of the lack of market stalls.

”Some adjustments are needed to attract more players”
Qalinle Dayib (C), Chairman of the Technical Committee

Those who sell on the square today aren’t allowed to have walls around the whole tent; there are special requirements on how the roof should look and more.

The new proposal gives traders the right to have temporary weather protection during wintertime; it will also be permitted to sell things other than flowers and food. It will also be easier to apply for permits and traders will be allowed to be open on single days (for example only Saturdays).

– Some adjustments are needed to attract more players, says Qalinle Dayib (C), Chairman of the Technical Committee.

– Through these changes, we can have a more attractive market trade, he says
