Several masked men fled on motorcycles - police looking for more witnesses

Many people heard the blast.

The police have taken statements from those living in the area and people who were nearby.

– Witnesses say there were two or three men that left on a dark or black moped, or scooter, said Peter Hansson, who is leading the police investigation.

The men are in their 20s. They were masked and wore dark clothes.

The perpetrators must have escaped on a moped/scooter via Mäster Jörgensgatan, which is opposite pizzeria Baltazar.

– We think they drove off towards the city. But I don’t know if they then turned towards Maxi or what, says Peter Hansson.

The crime has been classified as destruction causing public endangerment.

The police want more information from witnesses who may have seen something.

– We want to get in touch with people who may have seen something.

– It is a very serious crime. It’s a coincidence if someone is affected or not.

The explosion took place on the night of August 3rd. It damaged the front door and glass pane.
