SD backtracks on meat motion - "it was like pushing at an open door”
SD submitted a motion to scrap alternatives to pork in the canteen at school for religious reasons. Now it turns out that it already works that way. The motion is now being withdrawn.

If it is pork, then it is pork. The school's menu will not be adapted to students who do not want to eat pork for religious reasons. In which case, there is a vegetarian alternative.
This was how the Swedish Democrats Hässleholm reasoned in a motion.

Now it turns out that it has been working this way in the commune for many years.
Therefore, the Sweden Democrats withdrew the motion.
- We found out how things were pretty fast. The officials should not have to spend time investigating the matter, says Ulf Berggren, Group Leader for SD.
The idea came from Staffanstorp's commune.

– Yes, it was like pushing at an open door. We should have checked with the Head of Administration, he says.
