Thanks to the mild winter, the roundabout will open six weeks earlier, on the 13th of May. C4 Tekniks Project Manager Rutger Swenson and Communications Officer Henrik Wester are happy about this.

Work on the new roundabout is ongoing. The traffic has been redirected to a temporary roundabout. As a result, C4 Teknik and contractors have been able to work on the new roundabout.

Every day, between 14 000 and 15 000 vehicles pass by here.

The goal was to open the new roundabout at the end of June, but it will already be finished by the 13th of May.

This is partly due to the fact that it was a mild winter; the ground was not frozen.

The last stage began on Monday, April 22nd. Then the exit to and from Härlöv was closed. On April 28th, the traffic to and from Härlövsängaleden, Långebrogatan towards the centre, and Allégatan from Hagtornsvägen will also be closed. They will be closed until the 13th of May.

Among other things, lighting and signs will be set up.

– Then we have to be closed to traffic. We want to encourage those who are passing through to choose other routes, says Henrik Wester, Communication Officer at C4 Teknik.

The morning of May 13th, traffic will be able to pass through again. The new roundabout will be officially opened at 10 am.
