Restaurants threatened with closure – if it’s too cramped
There are cafes and restaurants where visitors are sitting too cramped. As a result, Folkhälsomyndigheten (the Public Health Agency of Sweden), is stepping up the pressure - restaurants where visitors do not keep a distance are being threatened with closure.

There should be no public gatherings with more than 50 people.
– And we should keep a distance of an arm's length, says Anders Tegnell, State Epidemiologist at Folkhälsomyndigheten.
But the authority has received indications that restaurants are not complying.
– Crowding in restaurants should be avoided; those who own restaurants have a clear responsibility. This also applies to outdoor seating areas. Of course, guests also have a responsibility, he said during Thursday's press conference.
– This also applies to stores, he says.
Checks will be made throughout the country during Easter.
– If you don’t follow the laws, businesses could be closed, he says.
