Record number of jobs for young people – in the middle of the crisis
The government is giving the Job Centre 180 million crowns for more summer jobs in the municipality. That means an extra 35 jobs this summer in Östra Göinge.
The offer of jobs has already gone out to young people in the municipality, in particular to those who did not get a job or were placed on the reserve list when they applied for a summer job.
Just as for the 100 jobs they will get 60 crowns an hour for three weeks, which will give them a maximum of 90 hours work and 5,400 crowns in wages.
None of the sports organisations has any summer workers this year, and there will be no summer jobs in the care sector. On the bright side, Wanås, Fryshuset and Medvind are part of the project, and they can offer young people jobs during the summer.
– I would really like to give them my warmest thanks, says Ollhage.
