Rådrum Advice Centre in Kristianstad closed
Rådrum Advice Centre has been in Kristianstad for five years. Now the centre is empty. All that is left is piles of paper – the centre will be emptied and cleaned, then handed over to C4 Energi who own the premises.
Why have you closed Rådrum Advice Centre in Kristianstad?
– The project has been financed by the municipality and other instances since 2014. Now there is not enough money to continue the project, so we’re taking a break, says Magnus Strand, project leader for Rådrum.
Where can you go now to find answers to your questions?
– If you have any questions, you can turn to Urbana Hembygdsgården. And you can always go to the Medborgarcenter at the Town Hall, says Yaser Alkafri, who worked at Rådrum as a co-ordinator.
Magnus Strand says there will still be a Rådrum in various places, including Lund and Eslöv. There is an ongoing dialogue with Kristianstad municipality as to whether Rådrum can open again in the future.
– But at the moment there is no Rådrum here in the town, he says.
