Police to question a person suspected of throwing stones

One person under the age of 18 is suspected on reasonable grounds of having thrown the stone that injured an 11-year-old girl on Monday, June 17th. The police will question him about the incident.

There were two people on a scooter or moped who threw a 1.7 kilo stone at the police. An 11-year-old girl was injured. The incident took place between Göingegatan and Albogatan at 8.30 pm on Monday, June 17th.

The police have named a person who is suspected on reasonable grounds.

– The police will question him about the incident. We are still looking for witnesses who can provide information about the other perpetrator, says Police Inspector Åsa Svärd who is leading the investigation.

The girl had to be taken to the hospital, she had a leg injury.

The incident took place between Göingegatan and Albogatan in Gamlegården.

A black/grey worn out scooter (mc or moped) came from the turning point on Göingegatan and passed the scene. The two perpetrators were sat on the scooter with their hoodies up. One had a white hoodie and the other a grey hoodie with stripes on the sleeves.

The police are taking tips on 114 14.
