Police investigate train accident as a crime
On Monday, the police filed a report of a suspected crime violation after a little boy was hit by a train and died. The report concerns involuntary manslaughter.

The police have no suspects. A report is required in order to begin a preliminary investigation.
– The train driver is not a suspect. It’s about investigating whether someone has committed a crime and if so, who has done so, says Anders Svenson, Head of Serious Crime with the Police.
He has submitted the preliminary investigation to the District Prosecutor Malin Paulsson. She will lead the investigation from now.
