Police find drug stash after tip off from the public

It was on a Monday afternoon that the police were tipped off about a drug stash. The drugs were hidden outdoors at a property in Odal in Kristianstad.

Police arrived at the scene and found the drug stash. Then two young people showed up on a moped. When they saw the police, they fled the scene.

Along the young people’s escape route, the police found more drugs. The police suspect that the youngsters disposed of the drugs when they fled the scene.

The police have not arrested anyone in connection with the case. But the police have tips to work off. This is what the police’s spokesman Robert Loeffel says. He commends the person who tipped the police off about the drug stash:

– A very good initiative on the part of the public, to get in touch when you see and suspect that young people are dealing drugs.
