Police chased masked driver – was armed
One night in February, the police were alerted to an ongoing theft in Charlottesborg. When they got there a car was driving away at high speed.
The police went in pursuit of the car. It came to an end at Prästallén. The driver crawled out of the car through the window pane and started running. He had a pink fishing hat on and his face was masked. The man stumbled and fell.
A policeman got hold of him. When the mask came off, the police recognised him, a 37-year-old. The police stood him up. There was a loaded gun where the man was lying.
The District Court sentenced the 37-year-old to two years' imprisonment for a number of offences carried out on several occasions, including aggravated larceny, gross negligence in traffic, car theft, drug-related crimes and violation of the knife law.
