Dog handler Mats Jönsson, Zola the fire dog, and forensic technician Staffan Persson are finding it difficult to map the course of the fire. There wasn’t much left after the fire.
– It was a total fire, most of it is gone, says Staffan Persson.
There aren’t even any walls left.
The technicians have had to wait with the examination. It has been too hot at the scene of the fire.
Zola the dog is trained to find flammable liquids.
The forensic examination is part of mapping the suspected arson. Others include tips, videos, photos, questioning people, and witness testimonies.
– We want to encourage people to help us. Photos and videos from when the fire started can help us figure out where to look, says Staffan Persson.
