Netto at Gamlegården as well as another eleven former Netto shops in Skåne and Blekinge are to open in August.

Why will they be closed so long?

– Everyone must have a summmer holiday. And it takes time to refurbish all the shops during the summer, says shop manager Joakim Jacquemot.

– All nine of our employees will be staying on. That's something our customers feel strongly about, they have a sense of security Witt the familiar staff.

Any risk that you will lose customers?

– Of course we'll lose some. A lot of the older people are worried, two months is a long time. We hope to be able to tempt them back again, says Joakim Jacquemot.

3,000 items will become 6,000 in the shop at Gamlegården. The shops will be driven by Coop's new company, Coop Syd.
