KFC postpones its first League match – will start at the end of July at the earliest
Dennis Nanasi, sports boss in KFC, explains why:
– We don’t think it’s a good idea to play two games and then take a summer holiday.
Kristianstad FC is one of all the senior teams who are waiting for training matches and league games to get started.
”We believe in this group”Dennis Nanasi, sports boss KFC
KFC has been in full training for the past few weeks.
– The atmosphere is very good, but the playes are frustrated, of course They want to play matches again, says Dennis Nanasi.
What KFC longs for most is training games. The league starts on 14th June. But KFC is postponing its Division 2 debut until the end of July.
– We’ve already postponed out first home match against Hässleholm IF (28th June) and are in discussion with Älmeboda/Linneryd as to playing the away match against them at the end of July instead.
KFC has a young team.
What do you think of the team after the training games that have been played?
– I think we’ve done a good job. A lot of players have made a strong impression and the quality has been high. But it’s a big step up from junior football to senior where you must deliver in every match. But we believe in this group.
